Jason turned 31!!! He had to work on his special day, so the kids and I tried to make it a fun day by taking him a coke and some birthday treats to share with his co-workers. When he got home from work, we surprised him with a new workbench that the kids and I slaved away on all day trying to get it put together. We then went and got sandwiches at Gandolfos and came home and did some yard work. (That's been the story of our lives lately...even on birthdays) Jason kept asking me to stop by Lowes to pick out a tree for the front corner of the yard and I kept telling him there was no way I could do it by myself and with 4 kids tagging along...well guess what, I did it just for his birthday (haha..it really wasn't easy to pull that off)! He was pretty happy about the tree and had to get it planted that night! After our fun night of yard work, we came in the house and opened more presents and had cake and ice cream. We got the kids to bed and then watched a movie. The kids love celebrating birthdays and have so much fun helping to make it a fun day. Happy Birthday Jason. We love you!
