Don't get me wrong though, I love to see my kids learning and growing and getting older and wiser...just a little overkill on the birthday cake and Golden Corral (Our tradition is to let them choose where they want to eat on their special day and that's where they all want to eat on their birthdays.)
Anyways, Kaysen turned the big *3* a few weeks ago. It was so fun to watch him wake up to the decorated house (streamers and balloons...this is another fun tradition). He is now old enough to realize this day is all about him and that was fun to watch. We had fun playing and 'partying' all day long. This kid is full of fun! He has endless energy and is always full of mischief. We love him for that and enjoy him soooo much. He makes us all smile. Happy Birthday little guy!
Kaysen and his cake! He loved watching me make it the night before his big day and was so excited! He kept trying to climb up the counters to get to it, and I kept telling him it was for his birthday tomorrow. That didn't make much sense to him until he woke up the next morning and realized it was HIS special day...then he knew he could have his cake!
After cutting his slice of cake, he didn't even want to eat it. He just wanted to play with his new cars.
